What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. As you use Coding Counts, we track your lesson progress, XP, streaks, and review card data to provide the learning experience.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to power your learning experience — tracking progress, calculating streaks, managing spaced repetition, and showing leaderboards. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with lessons and improve the learning experience. Analytics data is aggregated and not used for advertising.
Payments
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store your credit card information directly. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Firebase Authentication and Convex (our database provider). Both services maintain industry-standard security practices.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also export your learning progress data.
